Shareholders of GAIA Infrastructure Capital (‘GAIA’) approved the change of its name to Mahube Infrastructure at the company’s Annual General Meeting held on 16 October 2020.
Tiego Moseneke, the Chairman of Encha, said:
‘We are delighted that GAIA has been renamed Mahube, a Tswana word denoting a new dawn. We hope that this is the first of a number of changes in the shareholding, management and strategy of Mahube that are necessary to realise its full potential. Encha supports the management of Mahube as led by Gontse Moseneke and looks forward to an active and intimate involvement in the realization of its goals.’
